Design Intent
The vision for STRONG Pilates was to create a sophisticated wellness destination where architecture becomes part of the client experience. Warm natural wood finishes were paired with clean white surfaces, exposed timber beams, polished concrete flooring, and black architectural accents to establish a modern yet welcoming atmosphere.
Throughout the facility, sightlines were carefully maintained to maximize openness and natural light while creating visual connections between reception, wellness spaces, change rooms, and the training studio. Custom millwork elements and integrated lighting work together to reinforce the premium identity of the space while delivering practical functionality for both staff and members.
The result is a timeless commercial fitness environment that reflects the quality expected from a leading boutique wellness brand.
Architectural Millwork & Interior Finishes
Architectural millwork serves as one of the defining design features throughout the project. Custom wood cabinetry, lockers, reception millwork, integrated seating and built-in storage systems were fabricated and installed to deliver both exceptional aesthetics and long-term durability.
The reception area establishes the studio’s premium identity through a custom curved reception desk featuring illuminated branding, architectural wood panelling and clean contemporary detailing. Throughout the locker areas, custom millwork provides organized storage while maintaining a refined residential-inspired appearance uncommon in commercial fitness facilities.
The washrooms continue the design language with integrated floating vanities, quartz countertops, illuminated mirrors and carefully selected architectural finishes that elevate the overall member experience.
Together, these elements create a cohesive architectural interior where every material, finish and transition has been thoughtfully coordinated.
Premium Fitness Environment
The expansive training studio was designed to maximize openness, functionality and flexibility while maintaining a clean architectural aesthetic. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors visually expand the space, while exposed timber columns, industrial ceilings and integrated lighting provide warmth and character.
Rows of premium Pilates reformers, free weight areas and cardio equipment are organized to optimize circulation and instructor visibility, creating an environment that feels spacious, organized and highly efficient.
